I have to think the onboard 2002 845G chip would likely work at 1440x900, while I'd be surprised if the more than two years older Riva could.

If you have a 1080p TV with a VGA port, try it, with both the TNT, and the Intel. 1920x1080 is a much older mode than 1440x900, and thus may work where 1440x900 does not. If 1920x1080 works, a display swap probably wouldn't be too hard to manage, though most likely more than a less geriatric AGP card off eBay. Inexpensive 1920x1080 PC displays are all over the stores now in sizes at least down to 20". -- " We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion."
