I'm surprised I haven't found 3.3V or 5V USP supplies intended to keep IoT devices working through power cuts. In particular, security cameras either seem to be just mains or just battery. PoE ?
I have worked with PoE cameras and never seen one that could be USB powered. Also, a camera would be pretty much useless if the switch and recorder were down due to power failure. So, if you're worried about that, just provide a UPS for that equipment and the cameras will remain up, so long as there is PoE power. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
