aiui, btrfs as implemented in SuSE is a cut-down version, with most of the experimental and unstable features removed.
I am not aware of any feature removal. Can you provide pointers?
Bear in mind, I'm active on raid so I'm not that interested in btrfs unless it impacts on raid, but when digging I got the strong impression that ... Raid 0 and 1 work fine on btrfs. Anything higher is a disaster area. And that SuSE disable by default any of those features that cause problems. So I *guess* that things like raid 5 and 6 aren't there. (I guess, as a raid guy, I'd probably recommend a "disk - raid5 - btrfs" stack for anybody who wanted that sort of functionality.) (And my main "doing the work" system runs gentoo over ext4 over raid1 :-) Cheers, Wol -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
