Hi there, Since my users authenticate via nis, they cant access /dev/nvidiactl and /dev/nvidia0. I tried to set permissions of these two files to 777. Unfortunately, this works only until the user logs out or closes terminals. So I need to change permission to these files everytime a user opens a terminal. I tried to edit /etc/bash.bashrc (ie insert two chmod lines). This wont work since the user cants execute chmod. I tried chmod +s /etc/bash.bashrc. Without success. I also tried to insert chmod lines into /etc/profile to change the permissions while using kde login. Without success either. Any hints?
