i have 32-bit oS 11.2 KDE 4.3.1 installed on a machine that can do 64-bit, and the performance is less than stellar
i installed by downloading the 32-bit iso, burned it to DVD, and used it to boot/install (upgrading a 10.3 suse)
i want to try with a 64-bit kernel, and with the newer KDE 4.3.4 now in STABLE, but i'm not sure how to get there from here
Care to explain why you need a 32 bit OS in a 64 bit machine ?
He doesn't. He is asking how to upgrade to 64 bit. Me, however, I have a 64 bit machine with a 32 bit oS, and very happy with it. And I'm not going to explain why, already argued in the Spanish list many times, as you know. :-) - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
