Hi,
I sometimes get a printer queue that is stuck. This seems to occur when I have to turn off the printer and back on because it has run out of paper or ink. I tmight be the printer that locks up first but it also seems to lock up the print queue.
The fix that I use is to either reboot the CUPS print server or using YAST remove the printer then reinstall it. Is there an easier way to restart/reset the print queue?
Thanks,

I had this a few days ago, and got effective advice on this forum. Use your browser to go to <http://localhost:631/>. Look for the item "Manage Printers". See a green-labeled item telling you that you can Start the printer. That will clear your queue. -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
