[opensuse] LibreOffice : Spreadsheet : red cell boundaries : shows Date cell content changed

 - today, am confronted by new un-wanted 'Improvement'  : spreadsheet shows  red cell boundaries & shows Date cell content changed ....  any suggestions how to get back to without "red cell boundaries & shows Date cell content changed"  ??
