Again, why do you need manual configuration. If I want something, other than firewall/router or main desktop system to have a specific address, I do that with a mapping on my DHCP server. You can do the same with IPv6. I have been using IPv6 for over 9 years. I have yet to manually address a device on IPv6. It just isn't needed. This isn't like IPv4 where, if you don't have DHCP, you have to configure address, gateway, subnet mask, etc.. Everything works automatically.
