(Using 7.2, KDE 2.1 and XF86 3.x) I used the fetchmsttfonts scripts to download/install MS TT fonts. I've then switched to use Verdana as my default font in Konqueror and now many of the fonts displayed on web pages are big and fat and ugly (typical site is www.theregister.co.uk). I've done the same thing in the past (using the same font) and it looks great. My other machine (7.2 KDE2.1 and XF864) looks great. Anyone know what the problem is? Is it something to do with the fonts.* files in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype being wrong? I've tried recreating them with SuSEconfig but no luck? I'm stuck, someone please help me bring back my good looking Konqi... Cheers, Jamie -- Jamie O'Shaughnessy jamie.oshaughnessy@ntlworld.com
