I don't see any mention of the problem I reported to the author with MD5 sum validation on SuSE 9.3. Has anyone running 9.3 tried this release and if so, does it report something like this:
-==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==- Determining OS... Unknown Warning: This operating system is not fully supported! Warning: Cannot find md5_not_known All MD5 checks will be skipped! -==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==-
I'd just as soon not have to modify the script again.
Randall, I have forwarded a copy of this post to the author, Michael Boelen <michael@rootkit.nl>
Thanks. Perhaps the report I sent him (and you, if you recall: Subject: "Configuration Gap in Rootkit Hunter 1.2.6" sent to MB and you on May 5) got lost in the shuffle. This is the second bug I reported to him, and he dealt with the first one promptly and acknowledged the problem. But now that I think of it, he did not acknowledge this report as he did the first. Perhaps it never reached him.
