You can download and change login themes to your heart content but the ability to change the login system in opensuse is "broken" (by design i think). The login theme never never changes. Really?! I don't think so. I'm almost certain I've changed my GDM theme. I'll have to double check this evening.
But I don't know if a login theme encompasses playing audio. GDM worked perfectly with my finger print reader - I have no idea if there is voice based authentication.
You have to manually edit the configuration files. You'll need to search the web for the changes to make. It's been fixed for KDE SC 4.5.
