Will Wireless Lan work over 2-300 meters or more?
No, the current 802.11b LANs have an effective range of about 50 meters if there are not many intervening walls or a noisy environment. This range can be extended with properly placed antennae. There are more powerful radio LANs, but they are quite expensive the last time I checked, somewhere in the US$10000 range.
