did anyone of you ever try to get the SaX running (or any standard vga x server) on a compaq deskpro 575. it has a qvision someting graphics card......
I dont know if this will help you or not but I have a deskpro590 that I set up with xf86config used the generic monitor, generic card, and svga server. choose memory of 1200k #1 of refresh rate Its not what Id call "super high resolution" but definetly adequate. Im told a better card that has has say 2 M of ram would be better... but this is adequate> Im told most onboard vids do around 1M slightly more Did you set up the compaq "diagnostic" partition? My isa slots wouldnt work w/o it! good luck rob Bookmarks <A HREF="http://www.connix.com/~dizzy73/LBM.htm</A">http://www.connix.com/~dizzy73/LBM.htm</A> - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
