That is curious. I have a HP Deskjet 692c, and changing the format to 1n gives me perfect letter printing. I am using the cdj550 driver. I have no experience with your model, wish I could be more help. Lawrence Sayre wrote:

I'm a newbie who has just installed SuSE Linux 5.2, and I installed my HP DeskJet 850C color printer using YaST (fortunately it was on the list). I selected 'letter' size paper. The problem is that everything that I print (using lpr) comes out jammed in less than one quarter of a page, and so small it's painfull to read.
Another problem is that no matter what I do, I can't seem to get the 'CRISP' editor to print anything.
Is there a fix for either of these problems?
I've changed 'apsfilterrc' to read 1n (it was 2n), but this has not changed the fact that a full page of text is printing in just the top left quarter of a page of paper for me. It may be bigger than before by a factor of two, but it's still not there yet.
Has anyone else gotten an HP 850C (or 855C) to run with SuSE, and if so, can you provide some pointers.
