Rick;
Go back to your Redhat manual; at least it explains what it is your trying to accomplish; unlike suse.
Before knocking our friends at SuSE,(or Red Hat), this is a German distribution first. Excellent engineering and work being done in this version and plenty of help. wvdial and XISP are enough for the US users, and non-European users. The LDP HOWTO for PPP is at <A HREF="http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/PPP-HOWTO.html"><A HREF="http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/PPP-HOWTO.html</A">http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/PPP-HOWTO.html</A</A>> and is good place to get started, much better than any manual.
