I am trying to configure the xntp daemon on my Linux box to allow several Windows XP/Linux workstations on my LAN to sync their times to it. The daemon keeps the Linux server time correct using a couple of external public servers.
Can anyone give me some pointers ?
Well first get NTP software on the Windows boxes :-) Then set the NTP server to the Linux IP address. You can also set up the Linux NTP daemon to broadcast or multicast NTP info on local nets. Check in /usr/share/doc/packages/xntp for more info. --rickey
