Some things I have noted recently while running fvwm2 with a hacked .fvwm2rc which calls up a pager, some eyes, and tkdesk. One program causes some type of lock where the clock does not tick, the keyboard freezes, and other undesirable things happen like the system does not respond to the usual keys to end an X session. This program is a self-compiled knews 1.0b2 or whatever. I use also Ishmail for email and this sometimes causes the same symptoms when saving to a folder. My system;s physical setup checks out okay (memory, hard disk, scsi devices). This has only become more pronounced lately and only with the two programs I mention. Other large programs like netscape, applix, etc all start with no problems. Do others have problems with knews?
