Hello all, I'm running Suse Linux on my AMD Athlon 64 system. When I try to do a modprobe snd-emu10k1 I get the following error: WARNING: Error inserting snd_hwdep (/lib/modules/2.6.11.4-20a-default/kernel/sound/acore/snd-hwdep.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) FATAL: Error inserting snd_emu10k1 (/lib/modules/2.6.11.4-20a-default/kernel/sound/pci/emu10k1/snd-emu10k1.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) I'm guessing that the driver i have (downloade dfrom the ALSA web site) isn't compatible with my version of Suse Linux??? Note that I'm running the 32 bit version of Suse Linux on my 64 bit system if that makes a difference. I've also loaded the AC97 driver for my onboard sound card but I'm trying to set up both sound systems and switch back and forth between them. Is this do-able? Thanks, Braun Brelin
