It may take weeks to find out. I may notice that my system crashes during hibernation, once every week, say, and reverting the nvidia driver to an older version works.
As a rule, I install the first driver that comes with the distribution release, and never update it if it works. Thus, with Leap 42.2 I use Nvidia 340.102.
My 'fallback' 42.2 system is also running 340.102(-17.1.) It has a 'legacy' GeForce 9300M GS adapter, which isn't supported by the later (and current) 'unified' driver.
I have a GeForce 9500 GT. You are worrying me. Will mine be supported?
That wasn't my intention, Carlos! :) I wouldn't worry too much about it. They still seem to be maintaining 'legacy' drivers for much older adapters than what we're running. regards, Carl -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
