When you talk about needing a Chinese module from www.xfree.org you are barking up the wrong tree.
Isen can already view Chinese in Konqueror (and I bet he can do it in Kmail as well, he just needs to change the encoding), so he already has his X server set up correctly and has Chinese fonts installed.
I can read chinese in Konq & mozila. But I can't read chinese in KMail. (HTML off). I believe this is a font issue.
If you can read Chinese in Konqueror, then you have Chinese fonts. You just need to select one of those in the font setup of KMail.
I want to change the default font to the one that support chinese. Any good font that look like SuSE original font on X for chinese?
What he wants to do now is write Chinese. To write Chinese you need a Chinese server such as XCIN or Free Wnn and a compatible client. You can also write Chinese in XEMACS using mule.
Right.
I already download the http://www.suse.com/~mfabian PDF. It's very long.
I'm still learning that article. After I read all of it, I will try to install the XCIN.
Ask me if you have problems. And the mailing list <m17n@suse.com> might be useful as well. Subscription information is here: http://www.suse.de/~mfabian/mailing-list.html -- Mike Fabian <mfabian@suse.de> http://www.suse.de/~mfabian 睡眠不足はいい仕事の敵だ。
