try to remove glibc-32bit (that should remove all 32bit packages) and see what happens: zypper will tell you that you have to remove basically ALL packages, _INCLUDING_ 64 bit ones. Obviously this is total nonsense: why on earth should 64bit packages depend on glibc-32bit ?????? For this reason I wrote that Suse includes artificial dependencies.
