Hi!
I'm running SuSE-6.3 over kernel version 2.4.1.
When sending a test message to my own address, using "Pine" or "Mutt", the "From:" line in the message received reads "robin@YAST_ASK", rather than "...@cosby.demon.co.uk", even though this user domain is configured in both programs. Hey there!
Go into /etc/rc.config and search for "FROM_HEADER" Using Pico, it would be [as root]: pico /etc/rc.config <ctrl>+ W [This asks you to enter a query] FROM_HEADER <enter> [ =O)] [Edit it] <ctrl>+ X [This saves and exits] Y [Yes, we are sure] <enter> [Thats the right filename and we leave pine] SuSEconfig [This updates the necessary files for you] Or you could use YaST: System administration -> Change configuration file [To some people, easier ;o)] Take care, Good Luck!
