Dear All,
when I installed SuSE 13.2 yesterday, I made the mistake to answer yes to the question, if KDE should be started immediately. Now, I want to give a second user the possibility to start KDE. But this is not possible because KDE starts automatically for the first user, and I do not know how to drop it.
Do I have to re-install SuSE 13.2?
Thanks in advance for your help, Wolfgang
Hi Wolfgang,
in Leap 42.1 it would be:
* Start YaST * open Security and Users >> User and Group Management * under Expert Options (lower right corner) select Login Settings * uncheck Auto Login
I don't have a 13.2 system at hand, but there's a high chance that ist's the same (or at least very similar) there.

Yes this is the best way, editing sysconfig settings may not set all the same things that Yast does. In 13.2 KDE4, this is also available in Start / Config Desktop (aka system settings in some languages), System Admin grouping at the bottom, Login Screen, Convenience tab. You will need roots password I believe. -- After all is said and done, more is said than done. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
