So which is it? Broken where? In Opensuse or upstream? Sure seems to be a LOT of people using it (outside of opensuse), if it's upstream.
We think he means that many bugs are left unresolved, e.g. this one from 2008: https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=45945 The last update was in 2010. Anyway, it may be worth giving fpm a try no?
