-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I write here, again, on behalf of a group of co-listers of the Spanish list (suse-linux-s), that have a peculiar problem: they can not post any mail to the list, the SA filter at Relay2.suse.de thinks they are spammers. I'm sorry to bother you on this other list, but we have no other option, because: - The problem can not be discussed in suse-linux-s, as, for one thing, they can't post on it. - If they could it would be useless, because no list admin reads that list in Spanish. - We have written to the admin, without answer, yet. - They have contacted feedback, without answer, yet. - Our Novell contact in the list, despite being helpful, has being unable to get anything done about it, yet, again. - This has been going on for months; to my knowledge, it also affect some people in this English list. The problem affects several people, whose emails to the list are invariably marked as spam by the SuSE servers, and rejected. To be precise, the Bayesian filter mistakenly marks them as having 99% probability of being spam. The reason given by the rejection email is: |> <suse-linux-s@lists.suse.com>: |> ezmlm-reject: fatal: message already has a |> Mailing-List header (maybe I should be a sublist) |> (#5.7.2) But looking further down, we see the real reason: |> Subject: *****SPAM***** (Previous subject here) ... |> X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new at Relay2.suse.de |> X-Spam-Status: Yes, hits=6.8 tagged_above=-20.0 |> required=5.0 tests=BAYES_99, |> DNS_FROM_RFC_POST, FORGED_YAHOO_RCVD, MY_LINUX |> X-Spam-Level: ****** |> X-Spam-Flag: YES I happens mostly to people having yahoo or hotmail accounts, but even to a poster having a fixed official account. Somebody can help? I'm afraid that that Bayesian database must be retrained. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFCu1gTtTMYHG2NR9URAm2GAJwO//nsaBa1Y6FfVFkVK3xnzjU5BwCeKf7L DN/zLjMBkO01MjQqbxx2V+M= =qxYy -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
