Some time in the last three days my PC has stopped detecting audio CDs in my CD/DVD ROM drive (I haven't tried a DVD yet).
What does command "inxi -d" report? You should see something like
Optical: /dev/sr0 model: Optiarc DVD RW AD-7283S dev-links: cdrom,cdrw,dvd,dvdrw Features: speed: 48x multisession: yes audio: yes dvd: yes rw: cd-r,cd-rw,dvd-r,dvd-ram
If you don't have inxi, as root install with commands
cd /usr/local/bin && wget -Nc smxi.org/inxi && chmod +x inxi
Leap may have a package. http://smxi.org/
inxi may not help him, does not detect my cd/dvd drive (tw). /dev/sr0 (/dev/sg0) Model: "HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NS50"
Ah, but it does. It colors output which appeared blank on my display :( sorry for the noise. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
