I suppose your Realtek 8029 NE2000 compatible PCI network card. I'm using this and is not exactly PnP. I got it working with the following step: 1. Have you kernel compile with ne.o module support. 2. "cat /proc/pci" # to check on the parameter for your card ============= PCI devices found: Bus 0, device 18, function 0: Ethernet controller: Realtek 8029 (rev 0). Medium devsel. IRQ 9. I/O at 0xfce0. ================== There you have your io=0xfce0 irq=9 So when you load your ne.o module, put in the parameters of your network card. Hope this helps.
