I use 11.2 with the STABLE repos and do not see anything like that. If you did not add any plasmoids but just use the default desktop there must be something else to it. Maybe somebody else who uses the 43 repo can comment.

Yeah, I guess I'll sit it out until 11.2 is available and will do a proper upgrade...
