Hello, I've found out from several Linux books that rawrite "will write any size file to a floppy 1.44 Mb disc. This being the case I have downloaded the 2.0.36 kernel and tried to get to to write to a floppy. I get the error message "Bad sector detected: 1" with every floppy disc that I try. Does this mean that rawrite will not copy the 7.09 Mb file to a floppy ? I would download from the internet directly on to my Linux box but it refuses to detect the modem, neither will it detect my Genius LAN card. I think some other hardware is required. Happy New Year.
