Hi all
I've got my Zip 100 external working. It works great with blank diskettes. BUT when I try to mount the zip tools disk I get this error:
Mount: /dev/sda4 is not a valid block device.
I tried to mount it as both a vfat and msdos. Either worked, any ideas?
TIA!

I have a similar problem, with a Zip 250 USB, running off my (newe) Toshiba laptop. I'm running SuSE 7.0 and am getting the "not valid block device" both with the Tools disc and also with a blank (but formatted) disc. Running dmesg gives the output below (I've filtered out all the non-USB bits). Any of you clever people out there have an answer for us? Matthew Smith SuSE Linux fan since V5...
