Yes, I left out a step, postfix. But the mail is still handled by procmail *before* the client has access.
I think you had it right the first time... :-) I go directly to procmail using the following in my fetchmailrc: mda "/usr/bin/procmail -f %F -d %T " Would seem to be more efficient.
