Well I decided to check out the 2.2 kernel, and I have hit only 1 snag so far, and was wondering if someone would save me the time, and tell me which package I need to upgrade. Everything boots fine up to: "Configuring Serial ports....done" "tty_io.c: process57 (setserial) used obsolete /dev/cua0 -update software to use /dev/ttyS0" and a similar message for cua1 then a whole bunch of messages saying cua2 thru 10 or something were not found. Then I can dial and connect with wvdial, but it will not hold the connection. I built PPP into the kernel. What package needs upgrading? Setserial.rpm? PPPd.rpm? - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
