[opensuse] KSCD and digital playback

Hi all. I recently changed my DVD recorder (a Plextor PX-760A). This one does not have an analog audio output so I have to play my audio CDs using digital playback. Well, I am using both SuSE 9.2 (KDE 3.3) and OpenSuSE 10.0 (KDE 3.4). On SuSE 9.2 KsCD has this option while on OpenSuSE 10.0 KsCD has not (better, I see the option but it is not "underlined" and I cannot check the box. Any help?
