This suggests that Ben's remark concerning the 'study' which said that the German staff was three times more efficient than the American staff may be true for requests made in German but NOT true for requests made in English. Sounds like a serious communication problem. Michael and I got into a go-round and I think it was due to my misundersanding his use of English - his didn't mean what is statement implied... the idiom usage here isn't what they think it is there.
