Hello,
I have a long boot delay at the end of the boot procedure. dmesg say (see below).
on this computer (laptop), I have both eth0 and wlan0, eth0 connected (to fiber device). AFAIK previous stop was clean
wlan is required and is not ready, so boot waits for it.
it's configured but not active, it should not wait
I just removed the conf, I will see if it starts faster. If so I may write a bug report
edit /etc/sysconfig/network/config and change WAIT_FOR_INTERFACES="30" I use 10, but need to wait. you may be happy with something around "5" and you can leave the card in the computer. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
