-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm also trying LiVES - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LiVES LiVES (LiVES Editing System) /ˈlaɪvz/ is a free video editing software and VJ tool, released under the GNU General Public License version 3 or later. There are binary versions available for most popular GNU/Linux distributions (including Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Suse, Gentoo, Slackware, Arch Linux and Mandriva). There are also ports for BSD, and it will run under Solaris and IRIX. It has been compiled under OS X Leopard, but not thoroughly tested on that platform I have installed this one from Packman. It wanted to remove cdrtools, and instead install the compatibility package, which I did not allow. I told it to load a video. It has been doing so for the last hour, using 100% of one core. It just displays a big window, totally black, with a "waiting" mouse pointer. The video I told it to load is big, about 12GB, but this doesn't look normal. Processing a video is slow, but the initial load without displaying anything :-? Is this normal? - -- Cheers Carlos E. R.
