Pandoc is actually in the Leap repository, for those who have "taken the Leap" without flinching (yes, I am looking at you, Basil ;) ). It looks like a very impressive piece of work -- but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how it uses MathJax, which is a javascript package. I don't know- I have no need for maths. However, have you looked at this section of the user guide: http://pandoc.org/README.html#math-rendering-in-html ?
