I am using a Logitech optical USB mouse, set up as a PS2 mouse. The wheel doesn't work, but then I have never managed to get the wheel to work on any type of mouse under Linux yet. Arthur

Hi, I would like to know if anyone is running a Logitech optical usb wheel mouse using SuSE 7.2 personal edition.
As a last resort I reinstalled 7.2 and it will just not accept my mouse so I wanted to know if I'm just spinning my wheels (no pun intended) with this thing.

Here is the X4.x section for the mouse: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse0" # Modified by mouseconfig Driver "mouse" Option "Device" "/dev/mouse" Option "Protocol" "MouseManPlusPS/2" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection The line "ZAxisMapping" is what enables the mouse wheel.
