Hello,
I have SuSE 7.3 installed, using KDE and Gnome, with KDE as default in startx.
Today I've installed Ximian by their site. Installed OK.
The problem is that Gnome desapeared, and I can't run Xinian. Gnome desapeared from susewm also.
Do someone has an idea about the problem ???
Thanks,
Parra
Launch KDE Control Center and then 'System->Login Manager' then 'root', enter your root password then to the tab called 'sessions'. Find the line that says 'New type' and enter 'gnome-session' then click the button 'Add new', all this without the quotes. Save and restart KDM, then find gnome-session in the list. Same would go for KDE3. Matt
