i just installed suse 5.1 and the kdm beta 3 packages from the suse ftp server. everything is fine, but when the kdm frontpanel pops up, it first shows de tahn en as order in the language dropdown. as mopst of the users do not speak german, i would like it do default to english.
does anyone know what to set in kdmrc?
edit the /opt/kde/share/config/kdmrc SessionLanguage=de (change 'de' to 'en' -- or put en; de to have a drop down menu defaulting to the en)
BTW. KDE has a KDE Display Manager to configure all of KDM (since beta3 I believe)
Thanks, editing the kdmrc worked fine. I jost did not find that particular Setting in KDE's Display Manager.
