Hello,
I have a epson sylus c60. When i print 1) about a half an inch below where the printing start the second and third rows of text or graphic are overlapped. (That is if the first twenly lines of text are blank i then the text starts the second and third lines of text are overlapped).
2) text or graphic that shows up in previewing at the bottom rows of the page is missing in the printout.
I have tried different paper size settings but that doesn't seem to matter.
Any ideas.
This is the same exact model printer I use, and mine works wonderfully, much better than on my winduhs partition actually. Have you run through the setup stuff again by using cups printer or printer (kmenu->System->Configuration->Cups Printer *or* Printer)? Even do it through YaST again. Just highlight one of the lines you'd like to 'change' in the setup screen, and at the bottom it gives the options to choose from. If you've done all that, just 'delete' the printer that's there now, and start from scratch in the setup of a new printer. You might also want to use just Cups, and not lprng, because lprng gave me similar troubles IIRR. Find the latest Gimp-Print .rpm's for SuSE too and install them (read the installation instructions *thoroughly*!) and in the list of drivers you want to use during the setup of a new printer, go way down the list to the epson C60 for Gimp-print and cups. These are the ones that work very well for me, but if I were you, make sure you don't change any of the options for 'space from top' and 'space from bottom' etc, leave those things as default during the setup.
