Yast has to runs some scripts after install, and depending on how fast your box is it can take quite some time for it to finish up. If you reboot before Yast has a chance to finish it will start over again next time you boot up. tty9 shows what yast is doing and lets you know when it's done. Fjoe wrote:
Hello friends.
Up to now REDHAT 5.0 worked with Linux and I have substituted it for SuSE 5.1.
Well, when I finish installing all that I need and boot linux appears a message that it tells me that Yast doesn't finish carrying out the installation, it loads of the CD number 1 and later it tells me that everything has concluded.
As I can avoid that every time that Linux pulls up SuSe 5.1 it indicates me the same thing? Have I maybe made some error? As I can solve it?
Sorry for my Inglish but to write it has not been given too well.
Thanks in advance.
