When I run ./configure I get the following error message; checking for QT... configure: error: QT-1.3 (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation! I have KDE installed and it works. If I try to install QT I get a message saying QT is already installed. I am not sure what or if I should edit any of the files with klyx, The documentation with klyx isn't much help in this situation. Has anybody gotten this to work? Is there an RPM available somewhere?

Hi Jerome, I compiled klyx without trouble on my SuSE 5.1 bo last night. I have upgraded to the qt-1.32 package though, it fixes some qt bugs and may be what is causing the problem. It is available from: <A HREF="http://www.troll.no/dl/"><A HREF="http://www.troll.no/dl/</A">http://www.troll.no/dl/ Make sure you follow the instructions about setting the right environment variables, I got 1 wrong and of course nothing would work till I fixed it. Since it is in fairly early developement there is no rpm (and should not be) yet. Clearly I couldn't do much work with it in one night but it seemed reasonably stable and has some nice features. Don't forget that it is early beta, so I wouldn't run my only copy of a PhD through it yet - a copy maybe.
I hope this helps, Regards, Matt --
I didn't see anything about environment variables in any of the files other then configure and I didn't think from they way it was written it was meant to be modified by the user. I have qt-1.32 installed but I don't have the source files off the SuSE disk installed just the rpm. I have been trying to install klyx-0.9.2 without much luck so far.
