Silly question I know...but I can't remember how to do it.
I have a folder on a remote machine that I need to see what the permissions are set to...like owner, user, group, etc. How do I do this?
Thanks, Tom
Thanks to all for the reply! I did ls -l and got that information. It shows the same information as another file I'm comparing it to. I thought there might be more information than just that. Here's my issue. I'm trying to have a co-worker use Squirrelmail (Internet mail) to access their email from out of the office. My problem is that when they sign in, they don't see the left side of the screen which contains all their folders. Instead a message is in the space saying: ERROR : Could not complete request. Query:CREATE "Sent" Reason Given: Permission denied When I log in to Squirrelmail all my folders appear fine. The permissions of the folders look the same for both my Sent folder and for her. All she can see is just the Inbox. I checked to see if she belongs to the same groups as I do and she does. Also, the Sent folder appears in her Outlook just fine. Any thoughts?
