FYI, you could have used YaST too.
Yast runs at boot time?
Don't be silly. You can use YaST to write udev rules for renaming which are executed at boot-time.
Just FYI, this works perfectly fine. Run 'yast lan', under 'Hardware' you can change the interface name, which produces a rule in 70-persistent-net. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (1.9°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - dedicated server rental in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
