Is there a good description of the future of Leap in SUSE? A roadmap type of thing to help one understand where things are headed?
Looks grim.
The thread on factory "openSUSE Release Engineering meeting 31.08.2022" seems to say Leap 15.5 will be the last
What it actually says is that Leap 15.5 will likely be the last in the 15.x series and then comes whatever comes after SLE 15 (ALP or whatever). SLE 15 itself may have more service packs but there won't be corresponding openSUSE releases.
and I'm trying to get clarification on what they mean by support of HW older than x86_64-v3.
Pains me to see it, but looks like SUSE is killing the release model for openSUSE. I guess it's Tumbleweed or nothing from 15.5 on (I hope I'm wrong)
