I think it's usually /usr/src/packages/SRPMS, but I'm not sure... But you know quering the rpm itself is not a bad idea. Like if you have the rpm file rpm -qpl <filename> If it is installed (check with rpm -qa |grep apache to get correct package name) rpm -ql <packagename> "Sundar @local" wrote:

I installed apache*.src.rpm. But I don't seem to see the source code for apache. What is the default place for application sources like apache, jakarta, mod_ssl etc.
