Ok, i am able to change inside the yast module "alternatives" from "auto" to manual to get sddm-loginscreen back. is here anybody who knows what a clean tw install with kde and xorg normally should have? is this sddm or lightdm? and how is the priority? my yast-alternatives-modul shows: dbus-launch /usr/bin/dbus-launch.x11 auto default-displaymanager /usr/lib/X11/displaymanagers/lightdm auto default-xsession.desktop /usr/share/plasma5.desktop auto easy_install /usr/bin/easy_install-3.6 auto gtk-update-iconm-cache /usr/bin/gtk-update-icon-cache-3.0 auto kdesu /usr/lib64/libexec/kf5/kdesu auto libblas.so.3 /usr/lib64/blas/libblas.so.3 auto liblapack.so.3 /usr/lib64/lapack/liblapack.so.3 auto mt /usr/bin/smt auto rmt /usr/bin/srmt auto and if i try to edit "displaymanager", it shows me: select priority /usr/lib/X11/displaymanagers/console 5 /usr/lib/X11/displaymanagers/lightdm 35 /usr/lib/X11/displaymanagers/ssdm 25 /usr/lib/X11/displaymanagers/xdm 10 for me it looks like if set to auto (i never touched before) it will select lightdm because of priority (i also never touched priority) is lightdm the (new) tw standard for kde and xorg because of an update who has changed priority?? simoN -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
