No, I used Yast (You DOESN'T work yet) to get the updates. Presently, Yast is the ONLY update utility I have that works. You, Smart and Zen STILL don't work properly after the update!
Yes, of course, Yast and not YOU. I use the terms interchangeably, and therefore incorrectly.
After doing a complete reinstall I now have Yast working, and will later try adding some additional installation sources and see if Zen may now work.
Basil, Yast and You now work correctly.......I don't even mess with Zen. Updates are now insalled and I'm a happy camper again. The screen saver still messes up, but that is a minor problem. Everything else seems to work fine.
YOU has been working for me all along but I just tried Zen on a fresh install... after: 1) Installing the 'fix' RPM's that were listed about a week ago as 'fixing the problem'... (but only part way) 2) Then using YOU to look at the updates (only the libzypp was available and I installed all of that) 3) Rebooted just to get a really, really fresh start (and bowed down towards Redmond) 4) Zen said there were 54 updates available so I went for it. It died pretty quickly and now it won't even tell me how many updates are out there. YOU works though and I guess that's all that counts at the moment.
