I have the KDE panel and task bars set to autohide to free up realestate on my screen. I have the task bar set up on top of the KDE panel. Now neither will unhide. I can switch applications via the hot keys. Everything else seems to work fine. I have autofocus and autoraise set up and they work ok. It appears that the only way to get them back it to kill the session either by killing kwm or ctrl-alt-backspace. I've never had this happen before.
[please use the return key] Are you sure that kpanel is still running ? You can check with ps or top. If it is not simply start it from any terminal window.
